Teaching:

I've been a lab- and project supervisor in "Experimental Biophysics" (FFFN20), "Kvantvärldens Fenomen" (FAFA55) and "Bio-Imaging" (BIOS08).

Research:

My research involves using epitaxially grown GaP nanowires for toxicology investigations in Drosophila melanogaster. The nanowire growth is carried out using gold catalyzed metal organic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE) and the surface chemistry of the nanowires can be modified with atomic layer deposition (ALD). This allows us to control geometrical, physical and chemical characteristics of the fibers, parameters that are central in fiber toxicology. In addition, we have developed fluorescent GaInP nanowires that allow us to track and verify the presence of nanowires in tissues when introduced into a living organism.
