Interests:    Epitaxial growth of nanowires, their optical and electronic characterisation, particularly for solar cell applications

I have started my PhD studies within PhD4Energy project in August 2014, under supervision of Magnus Borgström, Lars Samuelson and Mats-Erik Pistol and collaboration with many of the students and researchers in Solid State Physics division.

Currently my research is on epitaxial growth (MOVPE), processing, and optoelectronic characterisation of semiconductor nanowires for solar cells.

I am interested in understanding the fundamental epitaxial growth processes and material properties, aiming to apply the gained knowledge towards improving or designing new  nanowire solar cell structures. Additionally, I am investigating the optical and electronic properties of such epitaxialy grown nanowires in order to reveal the fundamental physics occurring in the structures.
