Research: theory thermoelectricity/transport

I have been a PhD student in the group of Prof. Peter Samuelsson since October 2014.

Within the PhD4Energy project, the objectives of my research are: 
  • Two nanoscale thermoelectric transport publications submitted with another ESR
  • Theory developed for joint charge and heat transport projects.
The theoretical methodology will comprise scattering theory and density matrix equations. Towards the second objective, I am performing theoretical investigations of a thermoelectric transport model in resonant, non-interacting nanosystems, applying scattering theory. Towards the first objective I am cooperating with Artis Svilans and the group of Prof. Heiner Linke, concerning the possibility to interpret existing experimental data or design new experiments, based on the theoretical transport model.
