Anna-Karin Alm
Project manager, External Relations and Grants office

I work within NanoLund as project manager responsible for coordinating external relations activities, as well as the Grants office support offered to researchers within NanoLund. If you have questions regarding NanoLund or our activities, you are always welcome to contact me.
In particular, I coordinate our stakeholder network NanoTechNow which is a forum where companies regularly meet other companies, researchers, stakeholders and future employees (undergraduate and doctoral students) to discuss needs and join forces to initiate collaborative research and development projects. Please contact me if you would like to join the activities.
My own research background is within biology and life sciences. I have a PhD in medical cell biology based on the identification and study of a G-protein coupled receptor. I have worked with preclinical R&D in companies in collaboration with academia, and vice-versa, so I understand the conditions for successful research collaborations, and what it takes for the research results to be valuable both for the researcher and the company.
