Annual Meeting 2021

In 2021, the annual meeting was held on 12 October and NanoLundians could finally meet again! More than 160 participants were present to follow the meeting themed ”Light for Nano – Nano for Light”.

Program chairs Ivan Scheblykin and Jesper Wallentin had put together an exciting program. The program included invited and contributed talks on the topics:

  • Radiation from microwaves to visible light and X-rays to study the nanoworld
  • Generation and detection of radiation by nanodevices
  • Systems from semiconductors to nanoparticles and nanowires and biologically related objects

The poster session included almost 50 posters covering all areas of nanoscience.

NanoLund awards were presented during the dinner to the winners of the Junior Scientist Ideas Awards, Young Teacher Awards, the Excellent Support Awards and Best Poster Award. The awardees are presented on the Awards given at the annual meeting page:
