A Marcus Wallenberg symposium on Tailored surfaces in operando conditions was held in Ystad June 11-14 with 80 participants. A number of international speakers from universities and industry talked on recent advances in operando investigation of reactivity at surfaces from both experimental and theoretical approaches. The symposium also included visits to ESS,MAX IV and nCHREM (the Lund University TEM facility) at Lund University.
