Mini workshop: Quantum and semiconductors
This mini workshop will bring together people doing research at the interface between quantum technology and more conventional semiconductor electronics/physics/materials science.
We now kindly ask you to register for the event on THIS link.
The deadline for registration is March 18 (but why wait - just do it now!).
We're still finalizing the program, which will include internal and external speakers covering topics such as:
- Semiconductor-based quantum technologies such as spin qubits, gate-controlled superconducting qubits, and semiconductor-based quantum optics
- Cryogenic semiconducting electronics for qubit control
- Quantum materials (such as exotic superconductors and topological materials) that can be used instead of (or in combination with) conventional semiconductors
The scientific presentations will be in the morning session. After lunch we will focus on discussions about strategy, new ideas and collaborations, and possible future joint initiatives. The morning session (and lunch) are directed at everyone (students, postdocs, PIs, …). Everyone is very welcome also at the afternoon session, but perhaps the topics are most interesting for PIs.
