Workshop on “Teaching and Learning in the era of ChatGPT”

The immediate access to artificial intelligence, AI, e.g. in the form of chatbots like chatGPT, is quickly changing the landscape in higher education – and elsewhere. This workshop is a first attempt to collect experiences and develop ideas on how to use and relate to AI within teaching and learning activities at the Department of Physics.
During the workshop, we will receive a short report from the university's group on "AI in Education" and gain insights into various applications of AI tools in teaching. Following this, we will engage in roundtable discussions to explore examples of assessments used in our courses, including e.g. problems, exercises, and projects that we believe will be influenced or affected by the introduction of AI. Subsequently, we will divide into smaller groups for thematic discussions aimed at examining alternative assessment methods.
