Aims of LNCL
- Keep our crucial advanced characterization infrastructure at the highest international level of excellence
- Expand, educate and coordinate the use of our characterization capabilities
- Support novel use and development of equipment across disciplines
- Identify important upcoming methods and theory developments
- Identify necessary upgrades of existing equipment and needs for support
- Develop and initiate ”pilot studies” of new characterization tools
- Aid, organize and influence the direction of major new facilities and investments
