Innovations and IP
Do you think you may have a good idea for an innovation?
We work closely together with LU Innovation, the hub for innovation and commercialisation and the Tech Transfer Office at Lund University. For all scientists and students at Lund University, LU Innovation offers support in identifying valuable ideas, screening for prior IP in the same area, and advice in business development. They can also provide funding to test, verify or accelerate an idea.
NanoLund has two dedicated contact points at LU Innovation:
- Thomas Rundqvist (thomas [dot] rundqvist [at] innovation [dot] lu [dot] se)
- Erik Larsson (erik [dot] larsson [at] innovation [dot] lu [dot] se)

NanoLund Seed Projects
If you have a new idea as a NanoLund student or postdoc, you may also be eligible for NanoLund seed funding.
Would you like some smart students help you evaluate your idea?
Submit your idea as a possible project for the course Project Nanoengineer that runs every Spring. A group of four to six highly motivated students will spend about 6 person-months to test an idea, make a prototype, perform a market analysis or develop a business plan. Deadline for submissions is typically in December or early January.
