Focus of the meeting
This year’s focus topic will be “Nanotechnology solutions for Life Science problems”. Program chair Christelle Prinz has put together an exciting program that will feature talks on SARS-CoV-2 diagnostics and spreading, nanotechnology for precision medicine, neuromorphic electronics, biocomputation, thermodynamics of small systems such as molecular motors, and many other exciting topics that highlight the many aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology of and for the life sciences.
In addition, we are very happy that the chair of our External Advisory Board, Camilla Modéer, who was selected in 2020 by LTH for an honorary doctorate, will present her lecture as part of our Annual Meeting, on the topic of interaction between academic research, industry and society.
In light of Covid-19 regulations, we will take the necessary precautions by offering both limited on-site attendance in AF Borgen (maximum 50 persons and with plenty of room for social distancing), and online streaming including discussions. Our Scientific Advisory Board will participate remotely. We will not have a poster session or dinner this year.
All registered participants will get a link for the on-line streaming and discussions shortly before the meeting.
We would like to offer as many as possible to participate on-site at AF Borgen. Registration for on-site participation was open until 10th September. Please register below for online participation. Our ambition is to send information a week before the meeting about which sessions you are welcome to attend based on your preferences and available seats. Priority will be given so that as many as possible can attend at least one session of their interest.
We ask you for a fraction of your personal data. We will use it only for arranging the Annual Meeting stated in the form and will not share it with anyone. The legal basis for collecting this information is Consent.
