Research:
Martin Magnusson's research is in materials physics directed towards semiconductor nanostructures. In particular, aerosol-based methods are used to create nanoparticles and nanowires directly in the gas phase, a process known as Aerotaxy.
Teaching:
Martin is the director for the 5-year Engineering Physics study program. He is also the deputy head of the Physics department, with special responsibility for undergraduate teaching.
