Next week, it’s time for the annual Doctoral degree conferment ceremony at Lund University. One of the honorary doctors this year is Ulla Vogel, a member of the NanoLund Scientific Advisory Board. She will give a talk on nanoparticle safety at a popular science breakfast seminar on May 25. Be sure not to miss out!

Ulla Vogel is head of Nanotoxicology and Occupational Hygiene at the National Research Centre for Occupational Health and Safety in Copenhagen. She also has several ongoing projects with LTH from the past and has also been Scientific Advisor for NanoLund since 2017. The decision to name her an honorary doctor states that she is “a role model in taking basic and applied research to societal impact and improved legislation” and that she will be a very good ambassador for LTH.

On Thursday, May 25, the day before the formal ceremony, Ulla Vogel will give a short talk together with her two fellow honorary doctors from the Lund University Faculty of engineering, LTH. The seminar is in English, free of charge, and open to the public. Each honorary doctor will speak for about 20 minutes, after which there will be time for questions. No registration is required – you are welcome to drop in.

Feel free to bring your colleagues and come to the breakfast mingle before the lectures, where LTH offers coffee, tea and croissants!
