Undergraduate & Master studies

We give specialised courses preparing students for graduate studies in our research, as well as for careers outside the university. In order to study Nanoscience at Lund University you can either chose the Integrated five year Master Program or the two year specialised master programme. You can also choose to attend courses related to nanoscience and nanotechnology as a part of many other educational programs at Lund University.

Integrated five year Master’s Programme in Engineering Nanoscience

Are you interested in diving into a different world where classical laws do not hold anymore and quantum mechanics governs? Would you like to take an atomistic view in order to understand how things work? Do you like working in a truly interdisciplinary environment? What about developing new biomedical sensors by applying nanotechnology or connecting electronics to living cells?

In that case you can study Engineering Nanoscience at Lund University. This is a five year program culminating in a Master of Science degree.

Note: The first three years of the program are conducted in Swedish. The final two years will be conducted similarly to the two year Master's program below and given mainly in English.

Two year Master’s Programme in Nanoscience

The Nanoscience programme at Lund University has its scientific base in a physics description of nanoscale phenomena, but in addition to nanophysics you can, depending on your background and interests, choose to specialise in fields such as nanoelectronics, materials science or biophysics.
