Meetings & Seminars
Within each of our scientific subareas, as well as for NanoLund as a whole, we regularly organize meetings and workshops to coordinate our research priorities, develop new ideas and take advantage of our broad, interdisciplinary research environment.
Topical meetings
These are recurring meetings, each listed under the respective research topic (Materials & Manufacturing, Quantum physics, Semiconductor technology, Photons, Life Science & Nano and Nanosafety). To get on the mailing list for any of the research areas, please contact info [at] nano [dot] lu [dot] se (info[at]nano[dot]lu[dot]se).
Nanoscience Colloquia
These are given by invited researchers that are specialists in their field. The colloquia provide our PhD students and senior scientists with new knowledge on state-of-the-art research and enable research interactions with highly profiled researchers outside NanoLund.
The Colloquia are addressed to a broad audience and everyone is welcome to attend. Nanoscience Colloquia are organized by Sara Blomberg.
In parallel, the Nanoscience Breadth Course is organized for PhD students together with the Colloquia. In practice, students can get course points for actively participating in discussions around the talks and publications by the presenters.

NanoLund Events
Every autumn, we arrange an Annual Meeting to celebrate our scientific results by arranging a symposium on a specific focus theme, with invited talks by leading scientists, local presentations, and a large poster session on NanoLund research. We are very happy to offer invitations also to friends, collaborators and associated institutions of NanoLund. For newcomers to NanoLund, we arrange Introduction Events twice per year to introduce NanoLund and explain what we can offer. Once in a while, we arrange NanoLund Retreats for the whole environment or specific groups, such as students and postdocs. Typically with the aim to take advantage of the whole environment and develop new ideas.
Many other meetings, such as seminars, workshops and thesis defences, are typically arranged every week by individual research groups or divisions. Everyone is welcome to announce seminars of interest to people within NanoLund in our calendar!
