A product from the Lund University spin out AcouSort been selected as one of the top 10 innovations of 2018 by the life science journal The Scientist. AcouSort was founded in 2010 by, among others, NanoLund member Thomas Laurell. They use acoustofluidics to combine acoustics and microfluidics to separate and trap cells and particles in acoustic fields. It is their product AcouWash which now qualifies on The Scientists innovation list.
