Lise Meitner seminar
Welcome to an afternoon seminar where our Lise Meitner professors will present their research through short lightning talks – and where we will be part of a panel discussion on how we can work forward with LTH’s research environment in a second part. The day ends with a mingle.
The three new Lise Meitner professors will be introduced and give short lectures:
- Professor Klara Bolander Laksov, Centre for Engineering Education (CEE)
- Professor Petra Maier, Department of Mechanical Engineering Sciences
- Professor Regina Dittmann, Department of Physics
The lectures will be followed by a panel discussion on the theme “Men’s role in gender equality” – that gender equality is everyone’s responsibility and something that benefits everyone. The moderator of the panel discussion will be science journalist and lecturer Lisa Kirsebom.
Coffee will be served before the seminar from 14:40, and the panel discussion will be followed by a mingle with refreshments. The seminar will be held in English.
